Media Advisory: Project Beyshick 2006 Launched

The participants will embark an intensive experience in Toronto, where they will be paired with a CEO or senior executive from one of Canada’s top companies. Each participant will spend three days observing and job shadowing their assigned business mentor in a mainstream corporate setting.

Participants will also spend time attending professional development workshops, organized by the POA Foundation and presented by inspiring business leaders.

Project Beyshick began in 2005 as a joint venture between the POA Foundation and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN). It depends on the strong and trusting relationship developed between the partners; the Project is intended to continue indefinitely on an annual basis. While Project Beyshick is currently an initiative of POA Foundation and NAN, individuals from aboriginal communities across Canada are encouraged to apply to the program.

We will consider all applicants who are keenly interested in Project Beyshick and who meet the selection criteria of the program.
